Sweaty palms, heart racing, feeling sick, butterflies: these are some of the physical symptoms that many people experience when taking their driving test. Although you may be able to drive to the required standard on lessons, when nerves get the better of you and you feel anxious, stressed, panicked, embarrassed, intimidated and a range of other emotions when you think of your driving test, then you need that extra help to ensure you can perform to the best of your ability on your test.
Failing your driving test can cost ££££s in additional test fees and lessons before your next test, and can leave you feeling depressed, frustrated, angry, embarrassed, traumatised and anxious about your next test. A Driving Test Stress Buster session costs less than failing your driving test! If you can drive to the standard required for the test, a Driving Test Stress Buster session will help you to perform on the day without negative emotions affecting your ability.
A session can also help you if driving scares you, or you feel intimidated by certain situations. Or perhaps you’ve already taken your test and want to eliminate the negative emotions you may associate with previously failed tests. Whatever your situation, rest assured that by the end of the session you’ll wonder what you were worried about!
Although your instructor is the person to help you with the physical ability to master these things, this session will help you to overcome the mental blocks that you may have in these areas, enabling your instructor to teach you more easily, and making your driving lessons much more enjoyable, and less frustrating (for you and your instructor!) and certainly less stressful.
We are based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, and can provide a fully insured, dual controlled car for the session, but if you prefer you can have the session in your own or your own instructors car (bear in mind though, that your instructor would still have to charge for the use of their vehicle). Or, the session can be at our therapy room in Stone, Staffordshire, or via Skype/Facetime etc.
Please note that we are happy for your driving instructor or the person you have been learning with to accompany you during the session if you feel this will benefit you
Important: The ‘small print!’ An L of a way 2 Pass session isn’t aimed at making your ‘physical drive’ test standard (that’s down to you and your driving instructor working together), but to remove any mental blocks that are preventing you from driving to the best of your current ability. It is your responsibility to gain confirmation from your instructor that you have the physical ability to pass your test. In turn, this session will help you to perform under test pressure. If you wish, we are happy to discuss with your instructor how we can tailor the session to your specific needs.
